Deepika Padukone has been keeping very busy this year with Chhapaak in her hand. The film's challening enough to give the actress sleepless nights prepping up for it. She in Delhi for the past one month filming for a schedule for Chhapaak. After returning to Mumbai, she went to cast her vote for Lok Sabha Polls like every responsible citizen should. She shared a selfie of her ink-stained finger, putting all the rumours around her citizenship to rest. On Tuesday, the Padmaavat actress shared a video of herself scoring a perfect basket on a basketball court. She was playing alone and the moment was recorded in slo-mo. Going by the video, it's safe to say that Deepika Padukone is not only good at badmintor but also does pretty well in basketball, if not perfect. The video had everyone talking, including her husband dearest Ranveer Singh.
Ranveer Singh dropped a comment on the video which reads, "ballin". The video has already clocked 3 million views on Instagram. It has more than 5,000 comments with fans lauding her for her fitness.

Deepika Padukone is playing the role of an acid attack survivor in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. For the film, she will be seen wearing prosthetic makeup on screen. Several pictures from the sets have been leaked and are being circulated by the fan pages on the social media. It also stars Vikrant Massey in the male lead, playing her husband. Recently, a report has suggested that the Mirzapur actor has gained 10 kilos of weight to play the role of Deepika's husband in Chhapaak. The report reads, "Vikrant plays Deepika aka Malti’s husband in Chhapaak. For the same the actor had to gain as much as 10 kgs to fit the bill of the character. Vikrant without beating an eyelid was up for this.”
Chhapaak is scheduled to release in January next year, clashing with Ajay Devgn's Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior.
