Deepika Padukone resumes work in Paris
Deepika Padukone has switched on her work mode after a dreamy wedding ceremony with beau Ranveer Singh among the beautiful locales of Lake Como, Italy. The actress recently flew away to Paris for a brand endorsement and other than concentrating on her work, the actress is spotting adding brightness to the city with her gorgeous pictures. After a team member shared a picture of the crew with the Padmaavat actress, she herself marked her presence in the beautiful city in her latest Instagram post.
Taking to Instagram, Deepika Padukone shared a gorgeous picture of Eiffel Tower with the caption, “au revoir Paris...” and a heart emoji. Deepika revealed through her picture that she is all set to bid goodbye to the city of Paris. Check out the picture here-
Earlier, a team member named Maïté Armoudom took to her Instagram page and shared a photo in which Deepika Padukone was seen flaunting her infectious smile posing with her team in Paris. In the photo, Deepika looked like a million dollars in an off-white coloured pantsuit and complimented the look with her beautiful long locks styled in beachy waves. Check out the photos below-
On the work front, Deepika will soon start shooting for her next film Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Talking about the film and star cast, Meghna Gulzar told Mumba Mirror, “The cast is slowly coming together. Vikrant is somebody I’ve wanted to work with since Raazi, after seeing him in A Death in the Gunj. In the film, he plays a North Indian boy who used to be a professional before he decided to become an actor, then, started a campaign against acid violence which is how he came to meet Laxmi in real life. I speak for both Deepika and myself when I say that we are both really excited to have Vikrant play this part.”
Deepika Padukone is also expected to feature opposite Vin Diesel in the next instalment of the xXx franchise. Vin had dropped hints about the film by sharing a still from xXx: Return of Xander Cage featuring him and Deepika while asking his fans who would they like to be cast in the film with the caption saying, “Heading into a xXx meeting this weekend... Who would you like to see added to the xXx League?”
