Last year it was Anushka Sharma and her cricketer beau Virat Kohli who tied a knot in Italy sans the media glare and glamour. They flew to Tuscany, an Italian village to exchange their wedding vows. Following their league, lovebirds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are reported to have a destination wedding in Italy at Lake Como. As informed by the leading dailies, Deepika and Ranveer are dated to tie the knot by the end of the year.
According to a Filmfare report, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will get hitched in Italy at Lake Como. A source close to the couple told the leading magazine, “Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen on having a destination wedding in Italy and they have finalised Lake Como as their wedding destination. The place is dotted with exquisite villas along the shoreline, which is why both of them decided to wed in this beautiful place.”
Earlier, Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also had a wedding in Italy. Many Hollywood celebrities including big names like George Clooney, Jessica Biel, Tom Cruise have got hitched at Lake Como.
As per the report, the wedding is going to be an intimate affair with only family members and close friends present to take part in the couple’s happiness. For their industry friends, Deepika and Ranveer will be hosting receptions in Mumbai and Bangalore.
As far as Bollywood celebrities who will be attending the wedding, Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Kapoor’s names have been finalised.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been dating each other ever since they started working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela. They worked in three movies together including Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
