Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh send out invitation to Katrina Kaif for their Mumbai Reception
We all remember that Bollywood divas Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone were on fire when they appeared on Karan Johar’s most entertaining chat show Koffee With Karan 6. They graced the first episode of this season and revealed many interesting things about their personal lives. It was the most talked about for the duo’s sizzling chemistry even when they share a romantic connection with Ranbir Kapoor. Another actress who shares the same connection is Katrina Kaif. While Deepika shares a lovely bond with Alia, looks like Katrina is not really in her list of friends. When KJo asked Deepika Padukone if Katrina would be invited to her wedding, the actress didn’t take a minute to say NO. However, the latest reports suggest that Katrina Kaif has received the invitation to the couple’s Mumbai reception and Ranveer Singh has also texted her to come. Going by the reports in Spotboye, a source revealed to the publication, "Katrina received the invitation four days ago and she is gearing up to attend the event. She has discussed this with Salman Khan and if all goes well, she will walk into the party with the superstar and (Bharat) director Ali Abbas Zafar. She is looking forward to the bash."
The source also added that Deepika and Ranveer are also sending text messages to their colleagues and close friends. "While the actress (Deepika) did not send a text to Katrina, Ranveer ensured that he did," the source was quoted as saying. Not just Katrina, but other Bollywood celebrities have also received the invitations a few days ago and Deepika and Ranveer re making sure that they text them personally as well to join their celebrations.\
Later when Katrina Kaif appeared on Koffee With Karan 6 with Varun Dhawan, she expressed her excitement over all the weddings happening in B-Town. She said: "I'm really excited about all these weddings. I want to wear nice clothes and go to attend... I might not be invited for any but that's a separate thing. But in my mind I'm looking forward to an invitation."
On the other hand, Deepika Padukone also shares a warm bond with ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor as well. In fact last year, Ranbir and Ranveer appeared on Koffee With Karan 5 as well. Rumours suggest that Ranbir Kapoor has also received the invitation and might go as well.
