Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor lock horns for a fun dance challenge
Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor definitely enjoy a huge fan base especially as a couple. The duo has time and again not just wooed the audience with their brilliant performances, but fans fall in love with their onscreen and offscreen chemistry. The actors share a history together and while they now are dating/married to different people now, they share a warm bond with each other. A video has popped on the internet in which the two actors are seen in a dance-off and Deepika is asked to revive husband Ranveer Singh’s reputation.
Remember when Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh appeared on Koffee With Karan together and Ranveer lost to Ranbir in a dance off? Well, Karan Johar hosted a public event when Deepika and Ranbir were promoting their film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani together and played the same game with them. Karan asked Deepika to revive her then-boyfriend and now-husband Ranveer Singh’s reputation and win the dance-off with Ranbir. In the video going viral on the internet, the duo are seen indulging in cute banter and competing to win by doing signature steps of Bollywood songs. Check out the video here-
Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were last seen together in 2015 Bollywood film Tamasha. Going by the reports in the showbiz, the duo might come together again for Luv Ranjan’s next film which is also produced by Ajay Devgn. A report in DNA quoted a source as saying, "Deepika has just heard the synopsis. Nothing has been finalised yet. But it is an exciting project and just the fact that she has shown interest is a good sign." The report further states that apart from acting Deepika will also co-produce the project.
Ranbir and Deepika have worked together in three films- Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Tamasha (2015). On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra along with girlfriend Alia Bhatt. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone took a year long break after her last release Padmaavat. She is now gearing up for Meghna Gulzar’s next film called Chhappak which is based on the life story of an acid victim.
