After getting hitched with Ranveer Singh in November, she was welcomed with good news that she has become the first woman to enter Top 5 of Forbes’ Richest Indian celebrities list. She also defeated Shah Rukh Khan in IMDb’s Indian Cinema’s Top star list. Now another feather has been added to her cap. While she was dethroned by Priyanka Chopra as the most followed Indian celebrity on Instagram, her Insta followers have now clocked 30 million on the phot-sharing website. Elated by the news, Deepika Padukone shared a video on her Instagram in which she’s seen moonwalking, flaunting an ear-to-ear smile on her face.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh lately made headlines for attending Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s wedding reception in Mumbai. The couple not only attended the reception, but also danced the night off. She was dressed in a carrot pink silk saree while Ranveer chose to go monochrome. The comedian even had the couple cut their wedding cake at his reception. This warm gesture by Kapil won Deepika and Ranveer’s hearts.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will feature with Vikrant Massey in Meghna Gulzar’s Chappaak, which is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. DP will also be foraying into production with this film. She was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, post which she took a break for a year to plan and organise her wedding.
