After fire broke out on the top floor of actress Deepika Padukone’s building in Mumbai, the lady has posted a tweet confirming she is safe. The incident took place on the 33rd floor of the Beau Monde Building while the dimpled beauty resides on the 23rd floor. When the blaze erupted, the actress was not in the building, she was out for a brand shoot. However, her fans were worried.
Deepika took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “I am safe.Thank You everyone.Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives..”
After the incident took place, five water tankers and 108 ambulances were immediately rushed to the spot.
Deepika bought the apartment in 2010. On the professional front, she was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat alongside Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Despite several protests, the movie entered the coveted Rs 100 cr club. She will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s film alongside Irrfan Khan.
As far as her personal life is concerned, speculations are rife that she is going to tie the knot with her rumoured beau Ranveer Singh by the end of this year. However, nothing official has been said on the same.
