It seems that the controversy surrounding actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is not going to end soon. After the actor was accused of spying on his wife, his lawyer, Rizwan Siddiqui has been arrested by Thane crime branch in connection with the call data record (CDR) case. He will soon be produced in the court. Last week, Siddiqui, his wife and the lawyer were summoned by the Thane crime branch.
Rizwab has allegedly taken the CDR details of the actor’s wife from Prashant Palekar, who has already been arrested in this case. On January 24, Thane police arrested four detectives. Till date, 12 people have arrested in connection with this case.
Earlier, the actor dismissed all the allegations calling them random and disgusting. Later, his wife also came out in his support stating that her husband is a soft target just because he is a celebrity. She termed all the allegations false and said that the truth will come out soon.
She wrote, “Rahi baat, CDR se judi iss nai controversy ki to, sachchaai jald sabke saamne aa jayegi. Bas main yahan itna hi kahungi ki Nawaz par lagaaye gaye allegation poori tarah se jhoote aur be-buniyaad hain. Celebrity hone ke karan, unhein soft target banaya gaya hai…..”
