Cannes 2019 : Strappy blue gown to 'Modern Maharani', Sonam Kapoor oozes charm in these latest pics

Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor, who was last seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga,  made heads turn with her red Valentino gown at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2019. Now, the actress has turned into a royal princess in her latest pictures from the French Riveria.

 

Sonam Kapoor switched on her regal avatar at the after-party hosted by a jewellery brand at the event.Sonam's sister Rhea Kapoor took to her Instagram account to share the look of the actress. In the caption, she termed Sonam as 'Modern Maharani'. 

 

 

Sonam Kapoor put together an Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla outfit couture and oh boy, does she look stunning.

 

 

The entire idea of giving the maharani look a modern-day touch is indeed commendable.

 

 

In another Cannes look 2019,  Sonam Kapoor is seen donning an ink blue Elie Saab gown with noodle straps and bow detailing which extends to a cape wrapped on her hand. Sonam accessorised her outfit with a pair of drop diamond earrings. 

 

With her hair pulled back in a neat low ponytail with side parting, Sonam's nude make-up look compliments her outfit perfectly. 

Before leaving for Cannes, for her jet-set look, Sonam was seen wearing a pair of blue pants and a red top completing the look with a pinstriped jacket at the Mumbai airport.
