A source close to the actor confirmed that Big B was admitted to the hospital for a routine check-up.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital after he was complaining of neck and spine pain for a while. The hospital has not informed about his present condition so far. All the members of Bachchan family were present at the hospital.

However, in the evening, a source close to the actor confirmed that Big B was admitted to the hospital for a routine check-up. 

“Bachchan has been admitted to the hospital for a routine checkup. There is nothing serious. He is fine and it is just a normal checkup,” the source said.

Amitabh Bachchan was seen leaving Lilavati hospital at 9:05 pm.

According to News 18, the megastar was not feeling well for a long while now. His PR team has however revealed that the actor was suffering from neck and spine pain and there's nothing to worry about. 

On a related note, Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming film 102 Not Out dropped its teaser today morning. In the film, directed by Umesh Shukla, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor will be sharing screen space after 27 years. In the film, Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of a 102-year-old man while Rishi Kapoor is his son. It is a sweet love story between a father-son duo. The teaser has been received by the Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor fans on social media.

In March, last year, Amitabh Bachchan fell ill, following which he was admitted to hospital. After being discharged, he tweeted the news of his well-being on Twitter.
