Few months ago, this year, superstar Salman Khan saw himself in trouble again for the infamous blackbuck poaching case dating back to 1998. He was convicted in the case and sentenced to 5-year imprisonment while his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari were acquitted of all charges by lower Rajasthan court. However, the trouble doesn’t seem to have completely left their way as Rajasthan government is all set to get them back for their alleged crimes. According to a tweet put up by news agency ANI, the state government is set to appeal in the higher court against Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari.
‘Blackbuck poaching case: Rajasthan govt to appeal before the Rajasthan High Court against the acquittal of actors Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari and Tabu, Saif Ali Khan and others,’ tweeted ANI.
Going back to May this year, Salman Khan spent two nights in the Jodhpur Jail before he was let out on bail. He also has several travel restrictions on him, which means the actor has to seek court’s permission to travel outside India.
This recent turn of events signifies that the sigh of relief for Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari was only short lived.
Saif Ali Khan is busy with his Bollywood projects while Sonali Bendre is in New York to get treatment for cancer. Tabu will be next seen in Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer AndhaDhun. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is busy juggling between Bharat shoot and Bigg Boss 12.
