The occasion was actor Hrithik Roshan's birthday and, the Greek God of Bollywood made sure to celebrate his day with near and dear ones. The highlight of the celebration was indeed dad Rakesh Roshan's recovery post throat cancer surgery. The Roshan family posed for a happy picture making the birthday celebration all the more special. On the other hand, good friend Sonali Bendre with husband Goldie Behl and ex-wife Sussanne Khan made it a point to join in the birthday celebration of Hrithik Roshan.

Up and about: Hrithik Roshan shares 'Power of Love' family photo

Hrithik Roshan, who celebrated his 45th birthday on Thursday, took to social media and shared just the perfect family photo. In the photo, we see his dad Rakesh Roshan, who recently underwent surgery for throat cancer, all smiles with his loved ones. The photo, which seems to have been taken at the hospital, is worth a thousand words.

"And he’s up and about Power of love! Thank you all for being with him and helping him power through. Today was a great day", Hrithik Roshan tweeted.

All the Roshan family members looked more than happy to see their patriarch “up and about” including Hrithik's mom, Pinky Roshan and his son. 

Sonali Bendre, Sussane Khan join in for birthday celebration

Later on Thursday evening, Hrithik Roshan was spotted at a popular restaurant in Mumbai, and present were the likes of ex-wife Sussanne Khan, Sonali Bendre with husband Goldie Behl.

Everyone was all smiles as they posed for the cameras.

Hrithik looked his usual dapper self as he paired denims with a grey t-shirt and accessorized the outfit with a muffler, while Sussanne wore a black maxi-dress and posed with best friend Sonali Bendre who donned a floral skirt and a top.
