Television actress Juhi Parmar, who shot to fame with Star Plus' hit show Kumkum- Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan took to Instagram to share her near-death-experience. In a moving post, she mentioned how that moment made her realise how precious life is. ''The biggest treasure and pleasure is that we are able to breathe,'' she wrote.
Juhi wrote that she was at her friend Aashka Goradia's house for the Holi party where she fell sick and threw up. She choked and felt that she won't be able to survive, hence, she whispered to Aashka to take care of her daughter. For unversed, Juhi is a single mother of 6-year-old Samairra.
She wrote, ''I was at my best friend, Aashka Goradia’s house, from where I was rushed to the hospital around 10:30-11 pm at night. I couldn’t breathe but surprisingly all my parameters medically were fine- the oxygen, the carbon- dioxide, the ECG, the blood pressure etc, were all in place. However, I could feel myself choking and I felt that I wouldn’t be able to survive for another five minutes. I whispered to Aashka to take care of my daughter Samairra because I felt I wouldn’t survive.”
She further called it a moment of realisation and thanked everyone for their blessings. She also urged her followers to count their blessings and be grateful for what they have. ''In that moment I forgave everyone who had wronged me and held on to no grudges, to no negative feelings and just go because I didn’t want to carry this baggage…'' she wrote.
Juhi tied the knot with actor Sachin Shroff in February 2009 and got separated last year. Sachin and Juhi lived separately for a year before filing for divorce in 2017.
On the professional front, besides Kumkum, she also featured in Viraasat, Devi and Colors show Karmafal Daata Shani. Whereas, Sachin too appeared in a couple of hit shows like Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Balika Vadhu, Saat Phere, Tumhari Pakhi, etc
