The controversial reality show of Indian television, Bigg Boss 12 has kick-started making fans glued to their screens from 9 pm to 10 pm. The show is here with fresh faces and a new format. Commoner Deepak Thakur from Bihar's Muzaffarpur is currently winning hearts with his melodious voice. The Gangs of Wasseypur singer is also not scared of calling spade a spade.

After winning the first task, the BB press conference and defeating popular Neha Pendse, Deepak has become one of the loved contestants of the show because of his simplicity. In an unseen clip of the show, Deepak is seen humming Sandese Aate Hain and this leaves Dipika Kakar emotional. Dipika, who at that time was cleaning soon asks him to stop singing. Deepak notices tears in Deepika's eyes and rushes to her. The actress tries to control her emotions and then says that the song reminds her of someone special.

While wiping off her tears, Deepak says that he actually wanted to dedicate the Border song to his sisters.
Later the actress says that the song takes her back to her shooting days for JP Dutta's Paltan. Deepak then sings some peppy tracks to cheer up the sad lady. The commoner sings Laila Main Laila and Dum Maaro Dum leaving a smile on everyone's face.
