Bharat star Salman Khan ignored Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra at Manish Malhotra’s show
While people can’t stop talking about Bharat actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s royal walk at Manish Malhotra’s fashion show Zween last night, Priyanka Chopra has become another reason that one can’t ignore the grand event.
According to the reports in SpotbyE, it is said that Salman Khan ignored Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra when the two came face to face. After PeeCee’s controversial exit from the movie Bharat, the buzz had it that Salman is upset with the actress, however, Salman’s father Salim Khan denied calling it a common thing. But if Salman ignoring Madhu Chopra isn’t an indication of him being upset with the actress, then what is?

A source told SpotboyE, “Madhu Chopra reached the venue at 9.30 pm and went backstage to congratulate Manish for his show. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were right there prepping for their impending walk. However, the moment the superstar saw Chopra approach, he turned away and began talking to the actress. In fact, even Katrina didn’t acknowledge her presence.”
Adds the source, “Manish was glad that Madhu Chopra could make it and requested her to be seated in the front row. She proceeded to the auditorium soon after.”
Earlier in an interview, even Madhu Chopra said that all is well between Salman and Priyanka. She said, "You people (Media) only make such stuff up, Salman is not upset with her."
By this time, even birds know that Priyanka Chopra decided to step back from Salman Khan’s Bharat in the ninth hour and this made Bharat makers angry with her. Director Ali Abbas Zafar was the one who broke the news through his tweet. While some people called Priyanka’s engagement to American singer Nick Jonas the main reason behind her exit, others stated that she was not happy with the screen space in Bharat.
After Priyanka’s exit, Katrina Kaif stepped in to save the Titanic and revealed that she likes the script and her part in the film. The actress, in a video, even disclosed that she agreed for Bharat because of Ali Abbas Zafar and not Salman Khan.
Bharat also stars Disha Patani and Tabu.
