BFFs Kajol and Karan Johar shoot for The Kapil Sharma Show
Kajol and Karan Johar have been in the Bollywood industry for too long and they still share the same bond as they shared in KJo’s first film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Their chemistry always proves to be sparkling whenever they appear together. While Kajol’s sense of humour is always on point, filmmaker Karan Johar never fails to pull her leg. Recently, this BFF duo was on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show where they shot for an upcoming episode together.
A report in DNA quoted a source saying, “Kapil had been trying to woo KJo to come on his show for a long time now. Of course, the filmmaker’s jet-setting schedules didn’t allow this to happen sooner. Kajol, too, was stationed in Singapore for a fortnight with her daughter Nysa who is studying there. She got back four days ago. So, it was decided that the shoot would happen post April 16.’’ Looks like the episode is finally shot and it is expected to be the one making out stomachs ace of laughter. In the pictures, Kajol can be seen looking absolutely stunning in her pink Zara pantsuit and sleek straight hair. She complimented her look with less make-up and minimal accessories. On the other hand, filmmaker Karan Johar sizzled in his trademark printed jackets and pants. Going by the pictures, it looks like the duo had fun while shooting for the episode with Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh and others.
Talking about the comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show started off with huge noise and high TRP rating with Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan gracing the first episode. However, soon the ratings started to dip as the audience couldn’t see much variety in the show and Navjot Singh Sidhu also had to leave the show post his statements on Pulwama terror attack.
