Ayushmann Khurrana is truly husband goals. From observing fast for his wife Tahira Kashyap to writing a beautiful piece of poetry for her, Ayushmann had us with one post at a time. During Karwa Chauth, he etched Tahira’s initial in Hindi on his palm. And on Wednesday, the Badhaai Ho actor celebrated 10 years of marital bliss with Tahira with an aww-dorable social media post. Though the picture was mushy enough to make us go weak on our knees, his caption was the thing that grabbed our attention. Flaunting his usual poetic antics, he wrote, “मेरे बचपन का प्यार।
Ek dashak banaaya hai,
Lagta hai ek shatak banaya hai.
Ten years of togetherness. Happy anniversary.”
Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with Stage 0 of breast cancer last month. To prevent the spread of this life-threatening disease, she underwent mastectomy. She is still undergoing chemotherapy and husband Ayushmann Khurrana made sure that he fasts for Karwa Chauth while she recovers from her illness.
Talking about his fast, Ayushmann Khurrana told Mumbai Mirror, “For the past two years we have been fasting together. This is the first time Tahira couldn’t, as she’s undergoing chemotherapy. I decided to go ahead with it alone. She was really touched."
Earlier, when Tahira was diagnosed with breast cancer, Ayushmann Khurrana shared on his Instagram, “I will be fine, she said” along with a mushy picture of the couple together.
Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in Badhaai Ho which is doing wonders at the box office. It is gradually inching towards the 100-crore mark at the domestic box office. He was also seen in AndhaDhun which received rave reviews on the critical level.
