International icon Priyanka Chopra has taken the internet by storm all thanks to her Met Gala 2019 look. The actress, who was last seen in the Hollywood film Isn't It Romantic, made a dramatic entrance at New York’s annual Met Gala on Monday. Dressed in an avant-garde Dior gown, jewels by Chopard and a dramatic crown, Priyanka’s interpretation of “Camp: Notes on Fashion” stole the show. PeeCee teamed up her outfit with sparkly silver stilettos. While fans fell simply in love with Priyanka Chopra's unique avatar, members of the social media were too quick to flood the internet with memes and jokes on Priyanka's Met Gala 2019 look.

Now, Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra has reacted to her daughter's viral outfit. "Itni door se kya reaction hoga, mere saamne hoti to jhappi lagati, bhut sunder lag rahi thi bhut special lag rahi thi (If she would have been here I would have hugged her, she was looking very beautiful and special)", Madhu Chopra was quoted as saying in a recent media interaction. 

Curated by Mimi Cuttrell, the look mostly stood out for the way Priyanka Chopra's hair was styled. The short, frizzy hairdo was dramatic and the silver fascinator only added to the overall effect. Even her make-up was applause-worthy with the detailed silver eye make-up, dark maroon lips, a bindi and glitter face adornments.

Talking abut her decision, she said: "I do love my bindi. I always try and find something which defines who I am -- which is amalgamation of East meets West. This year it is the bindi."

She completed her look with a pair of silver pumps, purple drop earrings and multi-layered pendants by Chopard. She was styled by Mimi Cuttrell. 

Meanwhile, husband Nick Jonas looked elegant in a white Dior Men tuxedo and glittering silver Christian Louboutin heeled shoes.

According to pagesix.com, Nick accessorised with tonnes of diamonds, including ear cuffs by Borgioni and Marli New York, L'Dezen by Payal Shah bracelet and a Djula ring -- nearly $100,000 worth of jewellery in total.

As per a report in eonline.com, the couple also got to enjoy some custom bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne before the big arrival at the event.
