As kids, we were kept away from glamour of filmmaking, says Aamir Khan
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, son of late filmmaker Tahir Hussain, says during his childhood days, he and his siblings were kept away from the glitz and glamour of showbiz. Aamir got emotional about his father on Zee Cafe's chat-show "Starry Nights 2. Oh!", read a statement. He said: "We kids were pretty much kept away from the glamour of filmmaking. We rarely went to shoots. The only films we would get to watch were the films that my father and uncle (Nasir Hussain) made.
"We were also exposed to the actual filmmaking side of it. Whenever a writer and a director came to pitch a story to my father, I would sit in the corner and listen to the story." Aamir was a part of the chat show with his cousin sister Nuzhat Khan. They revealed secrets from their childhood.
Aamir Khan has always been a family man. From being by his daughter’s side to witness her great achievements to having fun with his little munchkin Azad Rao Khan, the actor makes sure he is a part of every important part of his kids’ life. After hosting an Asterix themed party for his friends and having dressed up as Obelix and Getafix for it, recently Aamir Khan shared another adorable click with his little bundle of joy Azad Rao Khan.
Taking to Instagram. Aamir Khan shared an adorable picture with son Azad Rao Khan in which the two are at their candid best. The picture shows Aamir and Azad lost deep on thoughts as Azad rests calmly on Aamir's shoulders. Aamir is seen wearing a red shirt and jeans with red-framed spectacles while Azad looks cute in a black T-Shirt and white pants with a pair of spectacles. Aamir captioned the picture as, "Gehri soch :-)"
On the work front, Aamir Khan is said to be on a strict diet for his next film. He revealed, "Earlier, I used to do so many things but now I am on a very strict diet for my new film. So, I have started getting back into shape." When asked the details of the project, Khan replied, "I cannot tell you which one it is but it's for my new film."
