Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor pens emotional post for late mother Mona Shourie
Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor are very close to their mom Mona Shourie (Boney Kapoor’s first wife). After her death, her two kids were devastated, as much as they try to carry on in their own lives. On Tuesday, Anshula was missing her mom badly, wishing for her return. She shared a throwback picture of her beautiful mother and penned a heartfelt post. In the caption, she wished for her mom to come back. She also talks about how she doesn’t want to adult all the time. All she wants is to have Kadi Chawal with her. Seeing the post, brother Arjun Kapoor who was also very close to their mom, tried to comfort his sister.
He penned an emotional post, talking about how useless a man-child he is and how he can never be an ounce of her mother to Anshula. He wrote, “I know she is my sister and I can pick up the phone and tell her this... But strangely sometimes it is easier posting things. It feels cathartic.. It's okay Anshula Kapoor, you don't have to be an adult all the time.”

Arjun Kapoor thanked Anshula Kapoor to be standing by him always. “You handle me, the most useless man-child in the world and you still manage to keep your sanity. It's fine. We will take things one day at a time."
Arjun also explains how he strives to be like his mother always. “I wish I could be more like her or just give you the time with her that you crave but the reality is that I can't even be like her even if I try. She was special and unique and you are more of an extension of her than I can be... Love you. I'll be home soon to trouble you,” reads Arjun’s Instagram post.

Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor lost their mother Mona Shouire in March 2012. She passed away just before the release of Arjun’s debut film Ishaqzaade. She was the first wife of filmmaker Boney Kapoor.
