From Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Arpita Khan Sharma's residence to garba nights in Gujarat, Arbaaz Khan and Giorgia Andriani have been inseparable for a while now. In fact, they have even been bonding with each other's families, sparking speculation that they are planning to tie the knot soon.
While Arbaaz had remained tight-lipped about his relationship status so far, he recently confirmed to an entertainment website that he is dating. However, he quashed reports that he and Giorgia will get married in the near future.
"You cannot shut a lot of people. They jump to a conclusion, they jump with certain assumptions. You know it's okay, it's alright if they see somebody with someone they want to get them married, they want to...everything has its due course of time," he said.
Arbaaz said that after his divorce, he has been in a few relationships, but they did not work out. "I've dated women and some look like they would go maybe little longer than they did but they didn't happen and I don't want to rush into anything. At this point of time, yes, I am dating and I don't know where it's gonna go but people think they know," he added.
The grapevine has it that the couple is planning to get hitched next year, but Arbaaz said that there was no truth to it. "They've already decided, 'Okay, this is gonna happen and when it's gonna happen'. Has anybody said that? Have I come on camera and said that? Has somebody else said that? No, from 'reliable sources' from 'family sources'. Who? Who are the people who are talking on my behalf?" he asked.
It is beyond Arbaaz's understanding why the media would want to "authenticate" such speculation by printing it. He added that he does not have the patience to clarify things.
"Do I really have the time to fight and give clarifications for every news that comes about me or about my life or what's happening? You just have to turn your face the other way and do it at your pace and time and not think too much because they are not gonna stop," he said.
Arbaaz said that people jump to too many conclusions and "sometimes you are proven right in due course of time but, not necessarily always".
On the work front, Arbaaz will be seen next in Sachin P Karande's Jack and Dil, which is slated to hit the theatres on November 2.
