Power couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are in Australia to celebrate one year of togetherness. Amidst wishes from their fans and well-wishers, the celebrity couple took to social media to share some unseen pictures from their wedding. Virat and Anushka tied the knot last year in a dreamy wedding in Tuscany, Italy. Anushka also shared a heart-melting video which has some unseen moments from their marriage.
Anushka shared the video with the caption, ''It's heaven, when you don't sense time passing by ... It's heaven, when you marry a good 'man'''. Her cricketer husband also wished his 'soulmate and 'best friend' a happy anniversary. Her cricketer husband posted photos from their wedding with the caption: ''Can't believe it's been a year already because it feels like it happened just yesterday. Time has truly flown by. Happy anniversary to my best friend and my soulmate. Mine forever''
In the video shared by Anushka, Virat can be seen referring to the actress as his ''wife''. He feels like he has grown up, Virat says.
In a recent interview with cricketer Adam Gilchrist, Virat talked at length about Anushka and how his life has changed after he met his actress wife. ''When I met my wife I began to change. I came from a very different background from north India and I had no idea of what happens in any other sphere of society or anyone else’s life. Her life was very different and it came with her own challenges and perspective on things. It was amazing to just see myself- how much different things were to the way I think. I was not a very practical person before that. But, she has changed me a lot. I’ve learnt so much from her. That’s what it’s supposed to be like, you should help each other grow and she has certainly helped me grow,'' he said.
On the professional front, Anushka was last seen in Sui Dhaaga: Made In India and will next feature in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero.
