Learn it from Anushka Sharma who is handling the viral memes surrounding her, like a boss. When the trailer was launched, one scene from the video caught the meme-makers’ attention. It was the one which showed Anushka Sharma crying and calling out for her husband played by Varun Dhawan. Ever since then, there was no stopping for the hilarious memes on the social media. However, Anushka Sharma was surprisingly amused by the memes and instead found them creative.
Earlier while talking to Mid-Day, she said, “I thought the memes were hilarious. I kept sharing them with Varun, Sharat (Katariya) and my friends. It is a compliment that my character has been stuck in people's head after they watched the trailer. Mamta has become a figure that everyone identifies with. Memes have become a common feature today. People actually dedicate time to make them. But in our case, it happened naturally and that too, on a huge scale."
Her reaction towards the meme shows that the actress has taken the memes and jokes sportingly, instead of taking offence. Recently, when Anushka Sharma was with Varun Dhawan on the sets of Indian Idol Season 10, she proved it yet again that she isn’t one of those who’ll try to shut down the trolls and memes.
Instead, she recreated the iconic crying scene from Sui Dhaaga and the audience present their broke into fits of laughter. And she did not once but twice. The video is going as viral as her memes on the internet.
Not only this, Neha Kakkar, who was once the centre of these trolls and memes too, enacted the same expressions.
We are surely loving the way Anushka Sharma is enjoying the attention she’s getting from the internet for her Sui Dhaaga- Made In India. The film will hit the screens on September 28.
