Video: Proud wife Anushka Sharma beams with happiness as Virat Kohli receives Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are definitely one of the most followed celebrity couples. Another reason why they are adored so much is that they never fail to be there for each other in the important moments of their lives. Virat is there to encourage Anushka while the latter is always seen supporting her husband. Recently, the Indian skipper received the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award 2018 for his unparalleled contribution towards Indian cricket. While the award was being handed off to Virat Kohli, his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was present in the audience with his mom Saroj Kohli.
As Virat Kohli walks towards the stage to receive the honour, wife Anushka is seen cheering and clapping for her husband. The pride she has in her husband was visible on her face.

She was wearing a black and golden saree to the event. She wore golden traditional Jhumkas and a tiny black Bindi. Following her usual style, Anushka had her hair tied into a neat bun.
It is also known that Anushka Sharma halted the Sui Dhaaga promotions for a while just to be there for her husband Virat while he receives the honour. The actress was seated next to her mother-in-law.
On the work front, Anushka Sharma will be next seen in Sui Dhaaga which is due for release this Friday. Also she will feature alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. Another great news for Virushka fans is that the power couple will feature in an advertisement once again after their previous commercial for a clothing brand became an instant hit. They were spotted shooting for the ad film at Film City in Mumbai on Saturday.
