Actress Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with her long-time beau Anand Ahuja, yesterday. After the wedding ceremony, the couple hosted a grand reception at the evening which was attended by many renowned faces of the entertainment world. Anushka Sharma and her husband Virat Kohli gave it a miss due to their work commitments, however, the actress wished the newlyweds on social media. Now, Sonam has finally given a sweet reply to Anushka’s message.
The Veere Di Wedding actress took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “Thanks so so much Anushka! We both missed you and Virat at the wedding! Tons of love!”
Earlier, Anushka welcomed Sonam to the club as she tweeted, “Happiness, love & a life time of joy to you both @sonamakapoor & @anandahuja & Welcome to the club! It’s such a beautiful journey of life, love & growth.”
The sweet exchange of messages indicates that both the ladies share a great bond. Sonam and Anushka will be seen sharing the screen space in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju. The project is helmed by Rajkkumar Hirani.
On the professional front, Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding is all set to hit the screens on June 1. Anushka, on the other hand, is occupied with the work of Anand L Rai’s Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
