Anupam Kher as former PM Dr Manmohan Singh
The Accidental Prime Minister is an upcoming political drama by debutant director Vijay Ratnakar Gutte. It has been in news ever since it was announced owing the concept and the ensemble star cast like on the lines of Anupam Kher and Akshay Khanna. Recently, Kher took to his Instagram handle to share a picture from the sets of the film. The picture had him as former PM Manmohan Singh sitting with wife Mrs Gursharan Kaur played by Divya Seth Shah, with the caption, "Introducing the very talented @divyasethshah. Akshay Khanna will be seen playing political analyst Sanjaya Baru. The film is based on the book by the same name written by Baru itself. The Accidental Prime Minister is being shot in both English and Hindi for a global release.
