Veere Di Wedding’s prettiest bridesmaid Sonam Kapoor aka Avni is celebrating her 33rd birthday today. As it’s her first birthday after her marriage to Anand Ahuja, the lovestruck husband took to Instagram to share a candid picture of his wife. Not only this, he can’t stop praising Sonam’s beauty in the picture like a die-hard romantic he is. While Anand Ahuja has poured his heart out on Instagram, it was father Anil Kapoor’s turn to share his feelings for daughter on her birthday.
On the occasion, Anil Kapoor shared a throwback picture from what looks like a family wedding. In the old picture, Sonam Kapoor can be seen dressed in an orange and gold traditional outfit and looking totally unaware about the camera that’s clicking her candid picture. Tagged along is her mother Sunita Kapoor who is equally unbothered about posing at the camera.
While wishing his ‘jetsetter’ daughter Sonam Kapoor on her birthday, Anil Kapoor wrote, “My dear @sonamkapoor, from being the best bridesmaid on screen to the most beautiful bride in real life (not just a father's bias), you have shown the world, once again, what an incredible force you are. And now, with @anandahuja by your side, I know you're gonna soar higher & prouder than ever before! Happy Birthday jetsetter!! Missing you and Mom a li'l extra today.”
In the end of the emotional note, Anil Kapoor also mentioned how he was missing his daughter and wife Sunita today. The actor is busy promoting his upcoming film Race 3 with Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem. The film is slated to release on June 15.
Meanwhile, he will also feature in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer Fanne Khan and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which will have his daughter Sonam Kapoor by his side for the first time in Indian cinema.
While we wait for Race 3 to release, let’s check out Anand Ahuja’s adorable post for wife Sonam on Instagram.
Mother Sunita Kapoor also shared a paparazzi picture from Veere Di Wedding promotions on her Instgram for Sonam Kapoor’s birthday.
She wrote, “Happy happy birthday to my amazing , wonderful, generous and lovely daughter.. love you so so much.. have the best birthday ever.”
