Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally solemnised their relationship after tying the knot in a fairytale wedding in Italy. Though not the wedding, but the wedding reception was attended by Anil Kapoor, who posed with choreographer friend Farah Khan. The actor recently opened up about the couple’s chemistry tracing back an incident from three years ago. Anil Kapoor was present on Neha Dhupia’s chat show No Filter Neha and he divulged an interesting detail about the couple when asked.

Talking about Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor recalled the time when the actress used to visit her then-boyfriend on the sets of Dil Dhadakne Do. He told how Deepika had to go through several security hassles to reach the ship. He even recalled telling her, “Chhodna mat isko, mera ye ladka superb hai (Never leave this guy. My boy is superb). Perfect choice. You can’t get a better boy.”
Dil Dhadakne Do had Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar in important roles. Interestingly, two of its lead cast tied the knot this year with their respective beaus.

When Neha Dhupia asked Anil Kapoor to give some advice to the Bollywood couple, he said, “They (Ranveer and Deepika) look great together, I wish them really well. They will make a beautiful and fantastic couple. I am very excited they are together.”
He also spoke about his nephew Arjun Kapoor’s relationship with Malaika Arora without naming her. He said, “I know him very well. Whatever makes him happy, makes me happy. I don’t want to comment on anything as that’s personal whatever he does. We all family members have believed in that whatever makes the other person happy, makes us happy.”
