Ananya Pandey roped in opposite Kartik Aaryan in 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' remake
Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey were ruling the headlines for a while as the rumour of them dating started popping up. While the duo never really confirmed anything or hinted at it, they were often seen together for brunch and dates. However, the real reason can be that since they are doing a Bollywood film together, they were catching up with each other to bring in a good camaraderie. Yes, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey will be seen together in the remake of Pati, Patni Aur Who.
Just like Sara Ali Khan, Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey has already signed her second film even before her first film saw the light of the day. Going by the reports in DNA, a source revealed, “Ananya has been signed on for the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake, which is being produced by Juno Chopra. She will essay the role that was portrayed by Ranjeeta Kaur in the original. The idea is to make it a modern version of the classic with a young cast. The makers wanted someone cute as well as glamorous for the part and she fit the bill. When the script was narrated to her, she was in splits and gave bulk dates, almost immediately.”
Reports also suggest that the banner is trying to rope in a big name for the role of wife as well, originally played by Vidya Sinha in the 1978 classic. Opposite Ananya will be Kartik Aaryan, who will reprise the role of Sanjeev Kumar’s in the remake. A source added, “He was the top contender for the male lead as he’s popular with the youth today. The makers wanted a hero, who has a boy-next-door vibe and is also great with comedy, since it’s a humorous take on extra-marital affairs. So, the Sonu Ke Titu Ke Sweety actor was their first choice. Kartik and Ananya have already done a few readings together.”
Fans are already excited to see Ananya Pandey in her debut film Student Of The Year 2 and now, this news has come as a happy surprise. The film is said to go on floors next month and the climax of the film is also said to be changed.
