Meanwhile, Ananya Panday will next be seen in Mudassar Aziz's directorial Pati Patni Aur Woh which also features Bhumi Pednekar in an important role. Co-produced by Juno Chopra and Bhushan Kumar, the film is a remake of 1978 drama with Sanjeev Kumar in lead role. Kartik Aaryan will reprise the role of the iconic actor. The Luka Chuppi actor will be seen in a completely different avatar. His geeky look for the film with well-oiled hair, moutsache and spectacles triggered several memes across social media.
On a related note, Ananya recently spoke on trolls and how she is unaffected by them. Talking about it, Ananya said that's it is not a new thing for her as she used to get bullied in schools. Hence, trolling doesn't demotivate her. ''In my school, we wore uniforms and couldn't apply nail polish or kajal. I had so many problems like body issues, stress and exams. I am really skinny even though I eat like a beast. Everyone wants to have a curvy body and look a certain way, but I think now I am comfortable in my skin. In school, I would always be uncomfortable because my skirt would expose my thin, chicken legs and wiry hands. I would get called a hunchback as I am tall and would always bend down to hear people. This is the reason trolls don’t affect me, as I have been bullied in school,'' the actress said.
