Ananya Panday can't wait for BFFs Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor to make their Bollywood entry
Star kid Ananya Panday, who is all set to make Bollywood debut with Student of the Year 2 opposite Tiger Shroff, says she's eagerly waiting for her besties Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor to join the B-town industry. Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor are childhood besties who are often spotted chilling at several parties and events.
"It has been our collective dream to become actors. I hope Suhana and Shanaya join the industry soon because they both are so talented. When we were young, during our family gatherings, we would put together shows and perform in front of our parents. Shah Rukh sir would record us on a handycam, and we would make short films out of them", Ananya Panday was quoted as saying to Mid-day.
Ananya Panday's character in SOTY 2 demanded that she be feisty and she says that she could relate to it well. “I have always been like how I am in my character but I was also quite studious. I wouldn’t get into trouble. But Tiger and I am living through Student of the Year, since both of us haven’t been to college. Tara is the smart one, so you should do some GK (General Knowledge) questions with her”, she was quoted as saying in a recent interview.
Shanaya Kapoor, who is the daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor enjoys a lot of attention because of her filmy background and recently her father Sanjay Kapoor has revealed that she always wanted to enter the film industry.
Talking about daughter Suhana Khan’s Bollywood aspirations, superstar Shah Rukh Khan has earlier revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “she (Suhana Khan) will go to an educational institute for three-four years to train in acting” after finishing school. He further added,“Gauri and I never told our kids that they have to grow up to be actors. People around would say handsome hai, tall hai, body achcha hai, but if looks were a criterion, I’d never have been an actor.”
On the professional front, last year, Suhana made a stepping stone towards her dream as she featured on the cover of Vogue. Her stunning photo shoot pictures became the talk of the town.
