Actor Sonu Sood is garnering immense praise for his antagonist role named Durva Ranade in Rohit Shetty directorial venture Simmba. Simmba which features Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles has become a box-office hit. Simmba not just received praise from critics but has become a successful film commercially as well. It has earned a total of Rs 212 crore till day 14 and is still on a record-breaking spree.
But Sonu, who has been receiving congratulatory calls from his fans and friends, is badly missing his parents. The actor wrote a long emotional note for his parents and shared it on his Instagram handle.
He started the note by writing, ‘’Today when I sit and attend congratulatory calls from so many people on the success of my new movie, there is one call I miss the most…a call from u both…’’
Further, he wrote, ‘’Today when the breeze of success hits me, it hits me so hard because I find myself standing alone without you.''
He added, ‘’never understood why we achieve things in life so late when the parents for whom we wanted to are not with us anymore.’’
Simmba, which is an action/drama film also has a cameo of Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar.
