Amitabh Bachchan on Ram Gopal Varma's acting debut: Another competition
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has worked with filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma in films like Sarkar, Sarkar Raj, Sarkar 3, Nishabd, Rann and others. The two celebrities evidently share a close bond. Now that filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma announced that he is all set to venture into the world of acting, Big B was one of the first celebs to welcome him and even claimed that finally he has found ‘his true vocation’.
Taking to twitter, Ram Gopal Varma shared the first poster of his film Cobra and revealed, “Ahem ! On the occasion of my birthday today ,i am debuting as an actor for the first time in my career ..I wouldn’t mind if u don’t bless me ..Thanks” Sharing the same poster, Amitabh Bachchan welcomed him and wrote, “FINALLY .. !! In Cobra, RGV plays an intelligence officer called R. In addition to acting, RGV is also co-producing the film in association with DPR. The film also stars KG and Ranga Rao. Now the actor has a list of films in his kitty. He will be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra and is currently shooting for his first south Indian film.
Big B has started shooting for his the film Uyarntha Manithan with Baahubali fame Ramya Krishnan. The duo has worked together in Bollywood comedy Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. After decades, they have come together once again for the Tamil film Uyarntha Manithan. Uyarntha Manithan is being directed by Tamilvaanan in Tamil and Hindi. The film also marks Amitabh Bachchan's first feature-length film in Tamil cinema.
