Veteran Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has always been very proud of his children, Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan Nanda. When the Bachchan siblings appeared on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 6, Shweta revealed that Big B cried after watching son Abhishek’s film Manmarziyan. On the other hand, we have often seen the superstar share pictures with daughter Shweta on Instagram and claim that he is a proud father. Not just today, but Big B has always loved flaunting his two talented children and this video from the past is proof enough.

A video is doing rounds on the internet in which Amitabh Bachchan is seen introducing little Abhishek Bachchan and little Shweta Bachchan to the crowd who is cheering for him. What looks like from a stage performance, Big B in the video says ‘Mere do bachche bhi yahan ae hue hain…mai aap sabko unse milwana chahta hoon.’ First he introduces Abhishek Bachchan and asks him to say hello and then daughter Shweta. Latest reports suggest that filmmaker Mani Ratnam is all set to make his dream come true as the the rumours suggest that Amitabh and Aishwarya have signed Ratnam’s upcoming period drama.

According to the reports in DNA , a source has revealed, “It’s a big-budget historical drama, which is being planned on the lines of the Baahubali franchise. It’s likely to be a bilingual project and star several other big names from the South Indian film industry. Mani approached his muse Aishwarya for the female lead and she signed on the dotted line." Talking about Big B, the source added, "Mani has narrated the script to Amitji. He is taking his time to decide whether he would like to do it. A confirmation from his end is yet to come but he has liked the idea."
