Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan's 46th wedding anniversary: Abhishek Bachchan shares adorable pic, Big B thanks fans

On June 3, 1973, superstar Amitabh Bachchan married Jaya Bachchan. They were co-stars of films like Bansi Birju and Ek Nazar. On the occasion of their 46th wedding anniversary, Big B took to social media to thank his fans for showering him and his wife Jaya Bachchan with all the love over the past 46 years. 

Taking to his Twitter handle, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "विवाह जयंती पे  आप सब ने जया  और मुझे अपना स्नेह आशीर्वाद दिया , इसका मैं आभारी हूँ  । ४६ वर्ष बीत गए".

As soon as Big B shared his wedding anniversary post, fans started sharing lovely clicks of their idol with wife Jaya Bachchan.

After marriage, Big B and Jaya Bachchan continued to work together in the industry. They co-starred in films like Zanjeer, Abhimaan, Chupke Chupke, Sholay, Silsila and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Meanwhile, son Abhishek Bachchan also wished his parents very happy wedding anniversary on Instagram with a caption that read, "Happy Anniversary to the parentals! Love you both eternally. #46andcounting".

Amitabh Bachchan last featured in courtroom drama, Badla with Taapsee Pannu. It was his second collaboration with Taapsee and it yet again proved to be successful. The Shah Rukh Khan production did amazing business and was loved by fans as well.

The actor will next be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the superhero film will feature Mouni Roy too. Other than that, he has been roped in for Gulabo Sitabo with Ayushmann Khurrana, Chehre with Emraan Hashmi and Jhund.
