Sonali Bendre is taking everything that life has thrown upon her with a pinch of salt. Even cancer can’t bend her optimistic and never-say-die attitude. Ever since she has been diagnosed with high-grade cancer, instead of dropping the curtains, the actress chose to chronicle her journey through recovery on Instagram. The Hum Saath Saath Hain actress celebrated Diwali 2018 with husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer and shared lovely clicks from the celebrations.

She captioned her post, "Diwali in New York happens much later than in Mumbai... Hence the late wish! It was quite an unconventional one... We didn't have Indian clothes, we had a small puja... But it was all heart.
"Happy Diwali everyone! May this year bring you good health, wealth and prosperity... Hope you celebrated this festival with your family and friends, and hope you cherish every moment of happiness with them!"

It was on July 4 that Sonali took to social media to open up about her disease. Since then, from time to time, the actor has been sharing about her struggles and her brave way of battling the illness on social media.
0n the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Sonali Bendre actress took to her social media to post pictures of her husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer Behl offering prayers to Lord Ganesha. She tweeted, "#GaneshChaturthi has always been very very close to my heart. Missing the celebrations back home, but still feeling blessed. Have a happy one, filled with blessings, love and joy!"
Recently, Sonali Bendre found a new book and stated that she can’t wait to start reading it. Sonali through herInstagram post updated that she is all set to start reading Hanya Yanagihara’s book ‘’A Little Life’’. She is an avid reader and earlier on Read A Book Day announced that she is busy reading a historical fiction titled ‘’A Gentleman in Moscow" by Amor Towles.
