Alia Bhatt wishes her ‘wonder woman’ sister Shaheen on birthday
There is no denying that Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt loves her sister Shaheen the most. Whether in different interviews or through social media, the actress always proclaims that sister Shaheen matters to her the most. Shaheen was recently in the news when she published her book that chronicled her story of dealing with depression and other mental health issues. She not only battled them out of her life but also found the courage to write about it and come out in open. This is the reason Alia Bhatt calls her wonder woman.
On Shaheen’s birthday. Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram to shower all her love on her sister and let her know she is missing her. The actress shared a gorgeous picture of Shaheen and wrote, “Happy birthday wonder woman. My best friend, my soul mate,my person!!!! No Instagram post or birthday message or call can do justice to the amount of oozing love I feel for you right now and every time I look at your beautiful face.. I love you sir! Those eyes are an instant fix for everything that's not right. So I think you should come back very fast because your little sister misses you too much and life is seeming not as fun without you at home!! Also we need eat some keto cake and dance on the sofas.” If this isn’t sibling goals, then what is?
A while back, when Shaheen published her book on depression, sister Alia Bhatt penned down an open letter about her sister’s struggle and even shared a heartwarming message for her through a video. She said, “When I come home after a long day at work or I am just sulking because of life, just one look at your older but still sparkling brown eyes just lights up my heart like you can’t imagine.” She had added, “When I read your very first book, a book that you have written with so much ease and honesty, while I struggle to write one letter to you. I feel awful. I feel terrible because despite living with you for 25 years, I have never really understood your silent moments of depression. I never recognised a snappy moment as something much bigger.”
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is shooting for two Bollywood films simultaneously. She is working on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra opposite Ranbir Kapoor and also for Dharma Productions’ Kalank. After completing these two films, she will start shooting for father Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 and Karan Johar’s Takht.
