Bollywood veteran actress Soni Razdan showered her blessings and wishes on Neena Gupta who turned 60 today. The actress took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt birthday post for close friend Neena Gupta and revealed their best moments with the fans. In the picture, the two actresses can be seen setting major friendship goals as they pose for the picture with mountains in the background.
Sharing the post, Soni Razdan wrote, "Happy Birthday meri pyari dost. This just about sums up our friendship. We walk our way through thick and thin. Through every season. For any reason. Wherever we may be. In this case our beloved mountains. Cheers to my walking partner and so much more. Neena Gupta, who is enjoying a vacation in London, has also shared a picture with her daughter Masaba Gupta and friend Soni Razdan on Instagram and captioned it saying, "Birthday pe khush toe hona chahiye na (sic).” Check out the pictures here-
Neena Gupta has mesmerized the fans with her stellar acting in the film Badhai Ho. She even bagged many awards for her performance. The actress will be next seen playing the mother in the cop-drama and she has revealed that her role is not of a stereotypical mother but has many dimensions to it.
Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Neena Gupta confirmed that she will be playing Akshay Kumar’s mother in Sooryavanshi. Revealing details about her character, the actress told the publication, “This is an interesting role because it isn’t the stereotypical mother who asks his son about food, marriage etc., but has several dimensions. There is a new temperament to the mother, and you will get to see a very different dynamic between Akshay, Katrina and me. This is a new, sweet and interesting space that I am looking to explore. I am happy that more people will get to see my work. Rohit has made some amazing films which have been appreciated by the audience.”
On the related note, Neena Gupta and Soni Razdan have shared screen space in many films like Daddy (1989), Mandi (1983) and Trikal (1985).
