Alia Bhatt reaches New York to be with beau Ranbir Kapoor and his family
Undoubtedly, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the cutest couple in Bollywood right now. Not just they like to spend time with each other, but we have often seen them hanging out with each other’s parents as well. This is no secret that Ranbir’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are in New York these days for the actor’s treatment, looks like Alia Bhatt has also joined them in the city.
After completing her Kalank shoot in Kargil, Alia Bhatt has flown away to New York to be with her beau Ranbir Kapoor and his family. Alia shared an adorable picture on her social media from the city and captioned it as ‘The Big Apple’. Check out the post here.
Not just Alia, many Bollywood celebrities have visited Rishi Kapoor in the States like Priyanka Chopra and Sonali Bendre. By the end of last month, Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to share with his fans that he is going to New York to get treated for an unknown ailment and requested everyone not to make any assumptions. His tweet read, “Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus”of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon!”.
However, Rishi Kapoor was not long gone that a media outlet reported that Rishi Kapoor is suffering from cancer and it is in the third stage. The report stated that Rishi Kapoor has been asked to undergo treatment for 45 days which includes chemotherapy sessions and that he is going through a trying time. This stirred a storm among the fans. However, Rishi Kapoor’s brother Randhir Kapoor was contacted by ETimes and he revealed that his brother is yet to undergo tests and they will share the result of what he has been diagnosed with after it is done.
Randhir Kapoor said, "We don't know yet what is the exact nature of his ailment. Rishi himself doesn't know what he is suffering from. He has not even started undergoing tests there; how can people speculate that he has cancer and that too, one that has escalated to advanced stage."
