Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are in no mood of hiding their relationship status from public. After going all clean about their relationship, the couple has been spotted umpteen times cosying around in the New York. The actor is in the US to be with his father and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who is stationed there for medical treatment. Ranbir flew to the US for New Year celebrations. The Kapoor family was later joined by Alia Bhatt who went there especially to be by her boyfriend’s side. Interestingly, Alia and Ranbir’s relationship has also clocked one year on New Year 2019. Back on New Year’s Eve in 2018, the actor proposed to his Brahmastra co-star.
Various pictures of the couple taking a walk on the New York streets are doing rounds on the internet. They were spotted by fans and surprisingly, the couple even obliged them with pictures. Alia was wearing a black overcoat with a beanie. Ranbir was wearing a beige fur jacket and a cap.
Earlier, Neetu Kapoor and her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared the pictures from their intimate New Year’s celebrations. Alia Bhatt is also seen sitting very close to boyfriend Ranbir in the pictures. Going by these social media posts, it seems like marriage is very much on cards for lovebirds Alia and Ranbir.

Recently, Alia Bhatt spoke her heart out about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. She even compared her love story to having a cat. She said, “It's not as if a relationship is an achievement. It is just a part - and a very important part - of my life. It's seamless as well as beautiful, and should be celebrated when it has to be. Right now, it should just be left on its own and kind of kept in a corner where it can stay safe and warm."
On a related note, it is being speculated that Ranbir Kapoor’s father Rishi Kapoor is suffering from cancer. In her New Year post, wife Neetu Kapoor dropped a hint in her caption. She wrote, “I wish cancer was just a zodiac sign.” However, earlier Rishi Kapoor urged his fans not to speculate anything about his health.
