Alia Bhatt finally reacts to the viral question of her marriage with Ranbir Kapoor
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding rumours have been doing rounds on the internet ever since the wedding season began in Bollywood. Fans predicted that after Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, it is Alai Bhatt’s turn to tie the knot with his alleged boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. While the actress kept mum on the topic for long, now she has finally reacted to the buzzing question ‘When are you getting married to Ranbir Kapoor?’
Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Gully Boy along with Ranveer Singh and director Zoya Akhtar. She is treating fan with a number of quirky looks and leaving them starry-eyed. In every promotional interaction, Ranveer Singh is flooded with congratulations for his wedding and Alia Bhatt is asked about her marriage plans. Now the actress has put rest to all the speculations once and for all. While promoting Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh recently, Alia Bhatt was asked about the same and she said, "I think people should now take a break. We have had two beautiful weddings last year. I think we can chill now, watch movies, work in movies, and rest can be seen later."
Alia and Ranbir have always maintained silence about their love relationship. While the two haven’t confessed their love for each other yet, their pictures and videos proof that the two are madly in love. Earlier, Alia Bhatt had spoken about her relationship with Ranbir to Hindustan Times and said, "It’s not as if a relationship is an achievement. It is just a part – and a very important part – of my life. It’s seamless as well as beautiful and should be celebrated when it has to be. Right now, it should just be left on its own and kind of kept in a corner where it can stay safe and warm. You can say that it’s like a cat in my life that I want to protect, and it’s not ready to come on social media." She also joked about it and said how her relationship is like the cat that she wants to protect and that it is not ready to be out on social media like Edward.
Earlier, while promoting his film Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor also admitted that he is no rush to get married. ''I have always believed that marriage is something that will happen naturally. It can't be like, 'Okay, I am 35 now, so it's time to get married'. It should come to you and your partner naturally and you should both feel, 'This is the right phase. Now, we should take this relationship to the next level. But abhi aisi koi baat nai hai,'' the actor said.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra which releases during Christmas this year.
