One of the stylish and adorable couples of Bollywood- Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have welcomed their second child. The duo has been blessed with a baby boy. Mira was rushed to the hospital yesterday late evening in Mumbai and after a couple of hours, news about the arrival of the newest member broke the internet. So far, Shahid or any of the family members hasn't shared any information officially.
Family members of the duo were spotted outside the hospital. Ishaan Khatter, Neelima Azeem and Mira's mother Bela were clicked by paps outside the Mumbai hospital. Soon after the new hit the social media, congratulatory messages started pouring in. From asking the first pic of the baby to speculating his name, fans had a field day. Shahid's Shandaar co-star Alia Bhatt also took to Instagram to congratulate the couple. Sharing a picture of Shahid and Mira, she wished her loves. ''It's a boy..Congratulations my loves!!'' she captioned the photo. Preity Zinta also took to Twitter to wish them. ''Congratulations @shahidkapoor & Mira on the new addition to the family So Happy for both of you . Loads of love, happiness and diapers always... Ting ! #babyboy #Happiness #Love,'' she wrote.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shahid spoke about his family and second child, ''Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so [I am] feel happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder. When you come back home to your family [after work], it’s a great feeling”.
On a related note, Shahid and Mira tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in 2015 in Delhi. They welcomed their first child, Misha in August 2016.
On the professional front, Shahid's next film Batti Gul Meter Chalu is all scheduled to release in September and now as the baby has arrived, the actor has to manage both. Shahid will have to juggle between father's duties and promotional activities. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the movie, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam revolves around faulty electricity meters and bills.
