Alia Bhatt is riding high on the back-to-back success of her films. After the phenomenal box office performance of her critically acclaimed movies, Raazi and Sanju, the actress is all set to impress her fans once again with her character of Roop in Kalank. The posters of Karan Johar's film are enough to pique our interest. Alia also recently won Filmfare Best Actress Award for Raazi but that's now the only reason she has for celebration. The actress has reached 30 million mark on Instagram and she can't keep calm.
Celebrating her 30 million Instafam, Alia shared a special video on the social networking site giving us a glimpse of her seven-year-long journey. Along with the video, she wrote: "It's been a wonderful journey so far... but it's just the beginning. 30 million."
The 26-year-old made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with Karan Johar's directorial Student of the Year and later went on to feature in critically acclaimed movies like Highway, Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi among other commercially successful films.
Meanwhile, Alia's next film Kalank has been directed by Abhishek Varman. The movie is set in the 1940s and is a multi-starrer featuring, Madhuri Dixit as Bahaar Begum, Sanjay Dutt as Balraj Chaudhry, Varun Dhawan as Zafar, Sonakshi Sinha as Satya Chaudhry and Aditya Roy Kapur as Dev Chaudhry. Besides, Alia will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2, Karan Johar’s Takht, SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah.
