Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who left us wowed in Raazi, is making good investments on properties. The Student of the Year actress has reportedly bought a flat in Juhu, Mumbai worth 13.11 crore. Alia Bhatt has reportedly paid double the actual amount of the sprawling 2300 sq. ft. apartment, according to a DNA report. Reportedly, this amount is double of the market rate of the property which happens to be Rs. 7.86 crore.
"The property was registered with the sub-registrar's office in Andheri on January 9," the report stated.
The flat was reportedly sold by Shimit Finance and Investments Pvt. Ltd to Eternal Sunshine Productions Pvt. Ltd. It seems that since the flat rate paid by Alia was more than the ready reckoner rate [decided by the government], the stamp duty was also heavily charged. Alia Bhatt apparently paid a stamp duty of Rs. 65.5 lakhs for the said Juhu apartment.
"There's a premium attached to these properties and the price that Alia Bhatt paid isn't very high", real estate investor Sangeet Hemant Kumar was quoted as saying to the daily.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen next in Gully Boy which is going to be released on February 14, 2019. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles.
Gully Boy happens to be a musical drama film which is produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby productions. The film is based on the real-life story of the rappers Naezy and Divine.
Alia Bhatt will also be seen opposite boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Johar’s Brahmastra.
