Akshay Kumar retweets PM Narendra Modi's video, says I was never good at academics
Actor Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and retweeted a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he is speaking about how there is more to life than just examinations. The video if from Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0, which was a motivational interaction session held for students and parents.
Retweeting the video, Akshay wrote, ‘’Something I related to...I was never good at academics but with God’s grace, my parents blessings & hard work, I think I managed pretty well. With exams around the corner, I’d like to reiterate to students & parents, there’s more to life than just exams.’’
On the personal front, Akshay and his wife Twinkle Khanna recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary by enjoying a trip.
On the professional front, Akshay was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 and he is gearing up for his next project titled Good News along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.
The actor was also seen in a cameo role in Rohit Shetty’s directorial Simmba which featured Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. In the film, Akshay announced about his next project Sooryavanshi.
