Ajay Devgn on Tuesday refrained from commenting on the #MeToo allegations against his "De De Pyaar De" co-star Alok Nath. When producer Luv Ranjan was asked to comment on the same, Ajay intervened saying, "This is not the right place to talk about it." He added, "And jinki aap baat kar rahe hai woh film uske pehle complete hui (the film was completed before the allegations surfaced against the concerned person) Ajay was talking on the sidelines of the trailer launch of his upcoming Bollywood film "De De Pyaar De".
The trailer was launched on the occasion of Ajay's 50th birthday. Spilling the beans about his birthday plans, the actor said, "I will do what I do always, and I won't tell you what I do. De De Pyaar De also features Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles and is directed by Akiv Ali. It releases on May 17. Talking about the film, the actor said, "De De Pyaar De is a fun love story. It is a fun film. I don't even know if I have done this kind of film before. But I have had fun doing this film.” He also said, “There is no plot in this film. There is only masti.”
Rakulpreet and Tabu were also present at the trailer launch. Talking about working with Ajay Devgn, Tabu said, "It was great. We laughed so much while shooting for this film. I have known him for fifty years. It is always fun working with Ajay." In return, Ajay was also all praise for the actress and said, "We have spoken so much about each other that there is nothing left to say. But it is always fun to work together."
