Ajay Devgn's first look as Taanaji will send chills down your spine

The first look of Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn’s most awaited film Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior is out and we can’t help but say that the actor looks fierce and dangerous in every way. Director Om Raut took to Twitter to wish everyone Happy New Year and surprised them with the first look poster of this historical drama. The first look of Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior came out earlier in July and sharing the first look, he had written, "He fought for his People, his Soil & his King Chhatrapati Shivaji. The unsung warrior of glorious Indian history, Subedar Taanaji Malusare.”

In the first look poster just released, Ajay Decgn seems to be in a war zone with sword in his hands and ready to fight wearing his classic subedar outfit. While the face of the actor is half covered in the poster, Ajay Devgn’s eyes looks fierce and loaded with anger. Check out the pictures here-

In the film, Ajay Devgn plays the role of Taanaji who fought with Chatrapati Shivaji and was the military leader in the army of Shivaji. He is popular in history for the battle of Singhad in 1670, fought against Jai Singh I, the Mughal army Chief.

The team started shooting the film in September last year and Ajay Devgn also took to Twitter on Tuesday to share the clapboard of the film. The picture was clicked at the Muhurat pooja of the film on the sets. In one of the pictures, Ajay Devgn can be seen conducting a prayer with Om Raut.

It is being said that Saif Ali Khan will also be a part of the film as Ajay has approached him to play the negative role. A source opened up to Deccan Chronicle by saying, "It took Saif a long time to agree to be a supporting actor. After Kal Ho Naa Ho, he had vowed to never do a two-hero film in which he would have a weaker role. But Ajay has personally assured him that he will have a strong author-backed role."
