Former lovers Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi were spotted together at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Shalom Bollywood event. While the exes arrived at the event separately, what caught everyone’s attention was a picture where Aishwarya and Vivek were seen sharing the same frame. The Israeli PM Posed with Bollywood superstars as a sign of the "great friendship" between India and Israel on Thursday night. The PM also took to Twitter to share a picture with Bollywood stars with a caption that read, “Will my Bollywood selfie beat @TheEllenShow Hollywood selfie at the Oscars? @SrBachchan @juniorbachchan @rajcheerfull @imbhandarkar @vivek_oberoi”.
The photo is surely an Oscar moment and can beat Ellen's Hollywood selfie. While the picture won hearts, there's one thing that you might have missed in it.
The picture has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi in one frame. Before tying the knot with Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya dated Vivek. Their relationship became a major gossip when the Saathiya actor irked Aishwarya’s s ex, Salman Khan.
Vivek Oberoi shocked one and all when he called for a press conference in 2003, where he accused Salman of drunkenly calling him 41 times in the night and threatening to kill him, a move which led to him being ostracised in Bollywood and almost put an end to his promising career.
The selfie, which is going viral, also has Abhishek, Amitabh Bachchan, Sara Ali Khan, Abhishek Kapoor, Karan Johar, Madhur Bhandarkar, Imtiaz Ali, Raj Nayak and Prasoon Joshi.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu, in his address, spoke about Big B and Bollywood, and said, "I learnt that Amitabh Bachchan has a larger fan following than me on social media. You guys are a big deal. The world loves Bollywood. We love Bollywood. We want Bollywood in Israel."
