Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan grabbed spotlight when news of her rejecting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next started doing the rounds everywhere. Now, the Fanney Khan actress has denied the rumours about her opting out of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next film, terming reports about it 'baseless and untrue'.
The former Miss World's team has turned down the reports, saying, "This is totally baseless and untrue. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has immense love for Sanjay Leela Bhansali and will always be very keen to work with him."
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are all set to reunite after 8 years with an Anurag Kashyap-produced film Gulab Jamun. So, reportshad it that Ash let a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali slip to pick Gulab Jamun over it, stated a report in Deccan Chronicle.
Aishwarya had to zero in on one movie as the dates of the two projects were coinciding, stated the report. "Aishwarya had to choose between working with Bhansali and sharing screen space with her husband, as the dates for both films were clashing. And she chose the film with her husband," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
According to the report, Aishwarya was already in talks with Bhansali when Gulab Jamun was offered to the couple.
The couple was last seen together in Mani Ratnam's 2010 film 'Raavan' and will now be sharing screen space in 'Gulab Jamun'.
The beauty queen was last seen in 'Fanney Khan', while Abhishek is currently busy with his upcoming flick 'Manmarziyan'
