During an interview, Aishwarya Rai revealed how husband Abhishek Bachchan proposed to her on the sets of Jodha Akbar. While the couple fell in love on the sets of Mani Ratnam’s Guru, the proposal happened on the Jodha Akbar’s set.
In a recent interview to Filmfare, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was asked if she remembers how Abhishek Bachchan proposed her. To his, she said, “Of course, I remember. During the shoot of Jodha Akbar's song 'Khwaja Mere Khwaja', sitting as a bride, and I am like, omg this is surreal, all happening on-screen, off-screen, this is bizarre and Ashutosh is like you are engaged and I am like what.”
